Welcome to another exciting school year!. I am honored to be a member of the Frenship Upland Heights family! I started my career in education in 1997. I have worn many educational hats including classroom teacher (K, 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th grades in a variety of subjects), instructional coach (elementary and high school levels), GT enrichment, dyslexia intervention, educational consultant and now reading intervention. (I also  serve as the UH Student Support Team case manager.)

 

I grew up in Lubbock, attending LISD schools, eventually graduating from Texas Tech University after returning to my college work as an adult.

 

Being "Lolly" (my grandma name) is my favorite pastime along with board games, gardening, riding my motorcycle and OF COURSE....reading! 

 

I look forward to spending time with my students this year as they grow as readers and writers to become one of Reid's Readers!!
