Hello!  My name is Cassie Schneider, and I teach 5th grade READING! 

 

I am originally from Stevens Point, WI.  I received a degree in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2005.  My husband and I spent 13 years teaching in Parker, AZ before moving to Lubbock.  I have previously taught first, third, and fourth grade.  I was also an Instructional Coach supporting teachers in my previous district.  I LOVE teaching at Upland Heights!  I have two children, Tate and Zeke.  Tate will be a 6th grader, and Zeke will be in third grade!  My husband is also an educator.  He teaches 4th grade math at Legacy Elementary.  Our family LOVES to watch football and movies together.  We have a pet tortoise named Gary.  I look forward to getting to know your family!
