Hi, UH! My name is Shanda Beach, and I am the 5th grade Science teacher at Upland Heights. I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and joined the UH family in 2026. When I'm not at school, you can usually find me hanging out with my husband and our dogs. I also love reading and spending time with my family. We have two children, Cody and Adri. Both graduated from college in 2026 and are living in other cities. They are our pride and joy!

The best part of being at UH is working with amazing students! I'm excited for another wonderful year of learning, growing, and making memories with our UH family!
