Hello Parents!

My name is Hannah Montanez, and I am your child’s third grade teacher! I grew up in Arlington, Texas and graduated from Arlington High School. I went to Oklahoma State University to pursue a career in education and quickly realized I didn't want to be out of the state of Texas! I came to Lubbock in 2014 during my transition to Texas Tech. I graduated from Texas Tech in 2017 with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Human Development & Family Studies. I was teaching in Fort Worth, Texas from 2017-2021. I am very excited to continue my journey at Upland Heights Elementary!

I am so excited to have your child in my class this year, and I look forward to getting to know your families. We have lots of engaging, fun activities planned throughout the year, and I can’t wait to get this school year started and see all that your students will accomplish!
